Nick Girolamo
Founder & Senior Winemaker
In 1984, Nick Girolamo completed his studies and graduated with an Oenology degree from the world-famous Roseworthy College in South Australia. After a tour of the winemaking regions of Europe and South America it was the 1987 vintage and Nick took the reigns at the family Aldinga Bay Winery and dedicated his efforts to achieving exceptional quality in the company’s premium wines.
His depth of knowledge and wealth of experience with Italian grape varieties has already created an impression in the Australian wine scene. Nick’s vision of transposing the world renown characters and flavours of traditional red varieties of Shiraz and Cabernet Sauvignon to increasing popular Italian varieties is evidenced by many awards, both national and international, won over the past years.
Julia Girolamo
Founder & Managing Director
Julia’s appointment to the role of managing director of Wine Resources International has been instrumental in expanding our portfolio of brands worldwide. From an administrative position as the state administration manager of Pepsi Cola Australia Pty Ltd in South Australia in the early 90′s, she took the reigns of the sales and administration for Aldinga Bay Wines in 1995 and together with Nick founded Wine Resources International in 2001.
